How was Alpimatech born?

2023 - The first drone
The project was born in March 2023 from a passion: photography.
Two years ago I bought my first drone, a DJI Mini 2. Driven both by curiosity and the desire to experiment with a new way of photography, I immediately fell in love with it. Since then, I've owned several drones of all types, which have accompanied me on every occasion: from the cliffs of Portugal to the 3,600 meters of the Alps.

Experience in the second-hand market
Over the years, I've often dealt with large used marketplaces, both as a seller (my friends and I bought and resold football team tracksuits) and as a buyer, as I've always preferred buying used over new.
Over time, I became familiar with the dynamics of these markets: I was able to find excellent deals on what I needed and, above all, avoid the numerous scams that unfortunately still crowd online buying and selling platforms today.
Why not new?

The real question to ask is: “Why new?”
I was 16 when, with the first money I earned, I bought my first phone. I remember buying it on eBay: it was half the price of the new model I'd seen in the store the same day. I asked myself: was it really worth the extra €300 to open the box first? For me, no.
Furthermore, I've always spent long periods in the mountains, practicing sports and living in contact with nature. It's undeniable that the climate is changing. Many think it's not a problem that affects us directly, but it soon will be. That's why I believe that, in our own small way, everyone must do their part.

From a passion to a company
For over two and a half years, I dedicated myself to buying, selling, and reworking second-hand electronics while pursuing my university studies. The experience I gained and the right people to collaborate with encouraged me to turn a simple passion into a concrete project: thus, Alpimatech was born. The goal was to reach as many people as possible and make it increasingly accessible to everyone to pursue their passions... from photography to video games.
