Dry and create your smooth, only with air. Dyson Airstrait dries and straightens at the same time, starting from wet hair. Without hot plates. Dries hair directly creating the final style, with a single product.
Without hot plates, just air:
The Dyson Airstrait uses high-pressure airflow to straighten hair as you dry. Precisely heated air is distributed evenly across sections of hair as you style, without the need for extreme heat. Airflow is directed downwards at a 45° angle to create tension to align hair for a smooth style, reducing damage and breakage.
Intelligent heat control:
Glass-encapsulated thermistors located in the arms of the machine regulate the temperature of the airflow up to 30 times per second, to prevent extreme heat damage and protect the natural shine of the hair.
Dyson Hyperdymium Motor:
The 13-blade motor spins at up to 106,000 rpm, pushing 11.9 liters of air per second into the machine. It generates 3.6 kPa of air pressure, enough to straighten hair while drying.
Automatic pause:
After three seconds of inactivity, the machine automatically pauses, saving energy between passes. To reactivate the air flow, simply move the product.
Styling from wet hair:
Straighten and dry your hair at the same time. Three temperatures (80°C, 110°C and 140°C) to create the final style starting from wet hair, with just one tool.
Dry hair styling:
Touch up your styling on dry hair. Style at 120°C or 140°C or with optional Boost mode for maximum styling efficiency.
Intuitive airflow:
The Dyson Airstrait detects hair inside the arms and automatically reduces airflow when there is none, for quieter styling and more energy efficient use.
LCD Screen:
The high-definition color screen shows airflow and temperature settings, for easy styling.
