The Joy-Con
Many ways to play
The Joy-Con are one of the great innovations brought by Nintendo Switch. The variety of play styles they offer is unmatched in the history of video games. In fact, they can be used together in the dedicated grip (like a traditional controller), together separately, and even shared with another player, since the Joy-Con can also be used individually as controllers.
HD Rumble
Both Joy-Con include HD Rumble, which can deliver vibrations that are much more realistic than before in compatible games. The effect is so detailed that a player could, for example, feel the vibration of individual ice cubes colliding in a glass when shaking a Joy-Con. HD Rumble provides a level of realism that would otherwise only be possible with sound and graphics.
Other features
The package includes a left and right Joy-Con. Both include an accelerometer and gyroscope, allowing you to use motion controls in compatible games. The left Joy-Con also includes a share button, allowing you to share gameplay with friends via social media.
